Seven of Swords
Rider, Waite, Smith
By Nora L. Abelite
Aha, so you think you have outwitted everyone and in the
bright, yellow sky of dawn you sneak away with your comrades’ swords. Not so
fast! This is a dishonorable act and stealing another person’s sword is a
serious crime. Remember, the swords you steal can also cut you, clang together
and alert others, and worse yet, the sword may not sing for you and you will be
left defenseless in battle.
This sword stealing is an act of a young person who has not
given much thought to the repercussions of his actions. If this card is drawn I would question whether
or not there has been a pattern of dishonesty, thievery, and betrayal in this
person’s life that was established at a young age. A juvenile delinquent has
entered the reading!
